About The

Event

Game Over For Cancer was put together by two friends Bethany Elswood and Mike Talbot. We have chosen to base this fundraiser around games because gamers are a large community that doesn't get thought of much when it comes to charity because people who don't play games or understand games think it's a solo thing, something that you do on your own in your room. We want to show people that the gaming community is bigger than ever and gamers do care about other people and can do more together than on their own!

Over the years our family have had some bad times and close calls with cancer and other illnesses, so that's the main reason for picking the charity we did. 50% of proceeds will be going to cancer research and the other 50% we will be used for buying toys for children that have to live in hospital or suffer from illnesses like cancer. We want to take you every step of the way so we will be vlogging everything we do, so you can see everything from the set up to the toy buying.
If you don't want to take part in the events we are also looking for people to donate money and toys for the children, all toys must be new in box or with the tape sealed, we can't give children toys or teddy that have been played with or used before. If you with to donate anything please message from the box on the home page and we will send you any information you need to send it here.

If you would like more info about what hospitals we will be visiting please keep a eye on the WHO WE ARE HELPING page and we will update as soon as we have more information.
